That is why I am incredibly excited to announce the launch of Phone Call Recording for the Krisp Mobile app.
You Asked, We Listened
Since we launched the Krisp Mobile app, one request has consistently topped the list from our community: “Can I record my calls?”
We understand why. Phone calls are among the most vital parts of professional communication, sitting right alongside video meetings as the foundation of how we get things done. Being able to capture these conversations is a game-changer for productivity.
Seamless Identity and Intelligence
We’ve designed this feature to fit perfectly into your professional workflow. To get started, you will verify your own US phone number within the app. This ensures that when you make an outgoing call through Krisp, your contacts recognize you immediately—your own number is what shows up on their Caller ID.
But we didn’t stop at just recording. Once your call ends, the “Krisp Magic” happens:
- Automatic Transcription: Your call is instantly transcribed in any of the languages we currently support.
- AI-Powered Notes: Your call becomes a regular Krisp note, complete with a detailed summary, key points, and action items.
- AI Chat: You can use our AI chat to ask questions about the conversation, just like you do with your meetings.
- Full Sync: These notes are available on both mobile and desktop, giving you a seamless experience across all your devices.
What’s Next
Currently, this feature is available only for outgoing calls and only to users who have existing US numbers both on Android and iOS platforms. While this is just the beginning, we have big plans. Our roadmap is focused on increasing coverage and availability to more regions and call types.
