Since the start of the COVID-19 global pandemic, many changes have occurred to our world. Professionally, employees were rapidly moved to work from home and businesses are now organizing around remote work policies while they look to bring some employees back to the office.
COVID-19 Update:
As a company that has made AI-powered breakthroughs for noise cancellation, it is our mission to empower people to communicate online with clarity and confidence from anywhere in the world. We have always been passionate about remote work and productivity, and being a remote-first company ourselves, we felt responsible to alleviate the COVID-19-based sudden transition to remote work, especially for those organizations and users not prepared for this sudden shift.
We decided to change our price plans and provided Krisp for free to targeted user groups for six months:
- We introduced a free tier, which allows free usage of Krisp for 120 min/week on a weekly basis.
- We made Krisp app free of charge for all students, teachers, hospital and government workers, worldwide.
- We cut the prices by 30%, allowing users to purchase Krisp noise cancelling app with a monthly plan of $5 and a yearly plan of $40.
These decisions helped many of our users to have less stressful and noise-free calls with their coworkers and teammates while working from home. Since the beginning of our COVID announcement, tens of thousands of users have taken advantage of this program.
We have also gotten a lot of love from our users which was very encouraging and exciting to hear!
We believe that with every action, no matter how big or small, we are able to make an impact on our world. We are honored to have had the opportunity to support as many people as we could during these challenging times.
As the world is slowly recovering and beginning to normalize post-COVID work policies, we will gradually end the COVID-19 plan and will also update our pricing plans.

The COVID-19 plan will end on October 13, 2020, and we will no longer accept new requests.
If you are currently using the COVID-19 plan, you will be switched back to the Krisp Free plan when your six month period expires. After expiration, you will be able to use both Krisp free for 120 mins per week, unless you upgrade to Krisp Pro for unlimited noise cancellation.
