Corporate Legal Counsel

As a Corporate Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support across the business, with a focus on structuring, drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and legal risks specific to emerging technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance —to enable innovation while safeguarding the company’s legal and business interests.

What you'll do
  • Structure, negotiate, and close a wide range of commercial agreements spanning including enterprise SaaS agreements, research collaborations, data licensing, and vendor/procurement contracts
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to provide legal guidance on product compliance, and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with evolving global data laws, including Artificial Intelligence
  • Monitor and interpret developments in emerging applicable regulations, and translate these into actionable guidance on compliance, product development, and risk management for internal teams
  • Support global privacy compliance initiatives, including GDPR, CCPA, and other emerging data protection laws
  • Manage the contract lifecycle and maintain a well-structured, current contract management system
  • Collaborate with external counsel on specialized matters as needed
  • Assist with IP strategy, focusing on protection of AI technologies, data sets, and related assets (e.g., patents, copyrights, trade secrets)
  • Contribute to corporate governance, regulatory filings, and compliance documentation where applicable.
What we are looking for
  • Master’s Degree in Law
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial legal practice, preferably within a technology and SaaS business environment
  • Proven experience negotiating and drafting complex SaaS and technology-related agreements
  • Solid understanding of intellectual property matters
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical rigor and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and legal frameworks 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice
  • High ethical standards, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • A hands-on, proactive attitude with a willingness to step in and contribute wherever needed.
