QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our web and desktop products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, designers, and technical support, to test and validate product quality. Your responsibilities will encompass estimation, planning, investigation, coordination, and execution of tests, ensuring that any issues are effectively identified, documented, tracked, and resolved within our defect tracking system. Most importantly, you will be dedicated to catching bugs before they reach our users, consistently upholding the highest quality standards in everything you do.

What you'll do

Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated tests
Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities
Follow up on issues reported by users
Test result analyses and reporting
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Communicate efficiently and professionally with the development team
Take full ownership of own work and responsibility for every detail, every step of the way
Execute features/projects from start to end
Use all available resources to assess the problem and to identify the best solution.

What we are looking for

3+ years of relevant professional experience
Solid knowledge of the QA techniques, testing concepts, methodologies and tools
Strong work experience on team-driven or task-oriented projects
Knowledge of industry trends and Web infrastructures
Experience with Selenium Web Driver is a plus
Understanding the security, performance, availability and scalability implications while implementing features
Engineering mindset
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to investigate and research multiple sources
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Communicative and able to work in cross-functional and distributed teams
Experience and understanding of testing methods of desktop apps on Windows and/or MacOS is a plus
System administration skills are a big plus
Experience with test automation is a big plus.
