Krisp goes six-for-six; USPTO finds Krisp likely to invalidate Sanas\u2019 Patents<\/b><\/p>\n

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has instituted proceedings on Krisp\u2019s challenges to all six patents asserted against it by Sanas. All four of Krisp\u2019s inter partes review (IPR) petitions and both of its post-grant review (PGR) petitions will now proceed to trial before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).<\/span><\/p>\n

The USPTO instituted all six proceedings after reviewing the merits and determining that Krisp had demonstrated a reasonable likelihood of prevailing with respect to the invalidity of Sanas\u2019 patents and that it is more likely than not that Sanas\u2019 patents are invalid.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very pleased with the USPTO\u2019s decisions to institute all six proceedings,\u201d said Davit Baghdasaryan, CEO and Co-Founder of Krisp. \u201cSanas chose to assert these patents against Krisp, and we responded by challenging all six before the USPTO. The USPTO has now reviewed those challenges on the merits and determined that each one is likely to be successful. We welcome the opportunity to continue presenting the evidence as we have said we will do from the outset.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The institution decisions are an important milestone in Krisp\u2019s ongoing effort to set the record straight. Krisp has consistently denied Sanas\u2019 allegations and maintains that its voice AI technologies were independently developed through years of proprietary research and engineering and stands firmly behind its technology and intellectual property.<\/span><\/p>\n
